Experience Sagada And Experience Nature
There are so much things to see, feel, and experience in Sagada, Philippines and that is why it is a favorite among many tourists, both local and foreign, to visit whenever they are in the country. So what are these worthwhile spots? Let us find out in this short article.
What lures much of the tourists that frequent this town is its cold climate which is a lot colder compared to the major cities in the country. It is even usually much colder than Baguio City, the Philippines’ summer capital which is located on a plateau. The cold climate is the town’s top drawing factor and tourists from the European countries would find it much to their liking.
In case you push through with a Sagada trip plan, I have presented here a few more details to get you excited with such a vacation.
There are a couple of beautiful waterfalls there, one is Bomod-ok Falls and the other one is the Bokong Falls. The much larger and more magnificent of the two is the Bomod-ok Falls which takes much effort to reach. Just imagine you will have to walk down a number of rice terraces and cross over big rocks just to see it. If you try to walk to it, it might take you up to four hours. The Bokong Falls is a lot smaller and a lot easier to reach although you still have to walk over some rice terraces.
Do you love hiking? There are a number of easy to challenging hiking trails all around Sagada. And take not that since it is located in a mountainous region, you can even go off the trail and explore a bit more than what the usual tourists would normally do. Of course I suggest you only do this if you are a skilled hiker. And aside from hiking you can also do some mountain climbing. Mt. Ampacao is an easy climb for most beginners.
Caving is one of the top drawers of Sagada and it is something that you definitely should try. While it can be pitch black inside the caves, do not worry because your guide will be bringing a lamp to show you the way. Just be careful with the slipper rocks, the bats and their droppings. But definitely go and wallow in the cold water pools inside the caves.
These are just a few of the fun and exciting things that you can try while you are in this great and beautiful mountain destination. Do an online search now so you can learn how to get to Sagada the most efficient way.
