New Boeing Signals Increased Luxury on British Airways Flights

British Airways has revealed that the first of six brand new Boeing aircraft has arrived, providing the company with a larger, more luxurious aircraft for its passengers. Offering four different class options, the addition of the Boeing 777-300ER signals BA's ongoing concern to make its customer experience as flawless as it possibly can be.

The brand new twin-jet Boeing is larger in width than previous models and also takes into consideration environmental issues, providing increased fuel efficiency and offering a quieter experience. With two more aircraft due for delivery by the end of the year and another three due in 2012, BA will now begin fitting plush interiors into them, which will include their World Traveller Plus and World Traveller cabins in addition to First Cabin and Club World.

Passengers travelling on the new Boeing aircraft will also benefit from an expanded entertainment menu. With most airlines already well-versed in the importance of providing adequate activities during flights, BA's passengers will have access to 70 films, 230 TV shows and 400 CD's. In addition, "plug and play technology" will be installed allowing individuals to use their everyday electrical gadgets while they are airborne. High resolution screens, 60per cent larger than their predecessors, will also increase the customer experience while soft furnishings, in-seat power and extra room to recline into, BA's World Traveller Plus class is set to heighten the aircrafts already luxurious distinction. While the company has not yet released information on which route the new Boeing is to be used for, business and economy customers can expect to benefit from BA's upgrades over the coming years.
