I work for an IT support company London, we offer London IT services and I have just arrived back from a rather long weekend in Glasgow. I have some close family and friends who live in the city and I must admit that I had not seen them for over three years – naughty me even though it does take 2 to tango!
My girlfriend joined me on this short vacation and the plan was quite simple – we would spend the first days purely on our own, visiting some of the tourist areas and going for meals etc. The final two days would be where we do the socialising – the meeting up with these family and friends. This was the part my girlfriend was not particularly looking forward to for obvious reasons.
Before we left my girlfriend spent some time researching the city – as is her way. On one particular evening she was playing around on her laptop and she showed me a website she had found. It was extremely impressive and even included some of those much needed and appreciated money off vouchers.
We wrote down some of the names and addresses of the restaurants and on the first night we duly visited one of them with our money off voucher in hand. I have to say that the food was top quality – thank you airport information website – great recommendation – we also used the valet parking Gatwick service!
This is why I would advise other people to read through these types of site prior to travelling – the Gatwick valet parking find was a real jem that we will be using again in the future.
