Train Travel Around Europe
We have a lot of choice in the UK when it comes to travel. Years ago it was only the rich who could travel abroad as it was so expensive so unless you had a lot of money you just didnt get to go. Most Brits needed to make do with trips to Brighton or if they were very lucky Skegness. But things have changed dramatically and these days most of us get to go away to foreign soil at least once every year with cheaper options becoming available every day. It is easy for us to get to Europe these days on a train and once we get there it is so easy to keep using this method of travel to explore.
If you want to travel all around Europe by train then you can buy flexible tickets which will permit travel in the whole Euro Zone. Years ago these tickets were only popular with young people who didnt have much money and who wanted to backpack around Europe. But today, there are more and more people who are deciding to travel like this because it is not only cheaper but it is a lot of fun too. And when it comes to short trips away, one of the most popular places to visit has got to be France. We can now get from London to Paris in just three hours on superfast trains.
These trips are quite pleasurable too as the rail network in both the United Kingdom and Europe are of a high standard. And a flexi-ticket will enable you to head off on a whim if you like. Some people choose not to make any plans and just get off the train in places that look interesting as they pull into the station. These types of holidays allows the adventurer to go to many places around Europe that they may have never heard of previously and might never have had the chance to see otherwise. And another great benefit of train travel through Europe is that there is no traffic jams and the scenery is a lot more picturesque than travelling on a motorway.
Its great getting an English ferry (ferry angleterre) when visiting England. Quite often though, people enjoy using the Channel Tunnel (tunnel sous la manche). For thos wanting to stay in England (sejour angleterre), these ways are the best means of getting there.
